The Field is White Already to Harvest

Hello You'ns!

This past week was crazy! Out here they do mini missions for the youth, so we had a mini missionary with us all week. It was definitely a learning experience for all of us. I am grateful the Lord let us have a third companion this week. :)

Something that has been really neat to witness through out my mission is the different ways the Lord leads us to His children.

We met a lady named Sarah through contacting a part member family. The part member family ended up moving out of Sarah's house but we still went back to visit Sarah. She is REALLY interested in learning more. It is just amazing to see how we would never have found Sarah if it weren't for the family that was living with her for a few weeks.

On Saturday we were having a rough morning before leaving the apartment at 10. Sister Anderson and I just did not feel right about the plans we had made the night before. We felt like we needed to go to another town besides the one we had planned, but we didn't know where to go. We all said a prayer together and as I looked up after the prayer I saw Red Bud on our area map. We all felt right about going there and working. We were contacting some potential investigators and the first door we knocked on a man named Darryl answered. He invited us right in and we shared a message with him. The discussion really touched his heart and he said that he knows his mom would love to learn more as well. (His mom is the name on our potential sheet.)

We also had a zone conference this past week. Being surrounded by other missionaries and learning from our mission president and his wife is always so spiritually uplifting. The Lord really is hastening His work. We can all feel a sense of urgency in spreading the gospel.

“The Standard of Truth has been erected; no unhallowed hand can stop the work from progressing; … the truth of God will go forth boldly, nobly, and independent, till it has penetrated every continent, visited every clime, swept every country, and sounded in every ear, till the purposes of God shall be accomplished, and the Great Jehovah shall say the work is done.” -Joseph Smith

I love you all!

Love,
