One Year.

We had an AWESOME week! I love, love, love being a missionary and I love the Missouri St. Louis Mission!!

On Thursday night we met with two of our investigators in a member's home. We taught the Word of Wisdom, which is always kind of a scary lesson to teach, haha. They brought up the normal concerns with Coffee and Tea, but they said they are willing to give up whatever they need to to obey the Lord's commandments and be baptized. Last time we met with them we invited them to be baptized, but they wanted to pray about a date. The date they chose is a very special date to them because it is the day Leslie's son passed away. We all had goosebumps when they set the date. I know that this decision they are making will bless their family for eternity. It will be a beautiful day when they can all be sealed together in the temple.

Friday we had the opportunity to drive to St. Louis and learn from Elder C. Scott Grow of the seventy. We were able to learn from him and his wife for 6 hours. I learned a lot about what I can personally improve on, and we all learned how we can improve as a mission. Elder Grow talked a lot about the power that comes from scripture study. If we want to become better teachers, and more powerful servants of God, we have to know the scriptures.

This week will mark one year since I have been a missionary! This past year has been such a beautiful journey!

I love you all.
